Care Instructions

Keep your Spectator Sport gear looking and feeling its best with these care guidelines.

Blanket Care

Your custom sublimated blanket is designed to last with proper care. Follow these guidelines to maintain the vibrant colors and soft texture.

Washing

  • Machine wash in cold water
  • Use a gentle cycle
  • Wash with like colors
  • Use mild liquid detergent
  • Do not use bleach or fabric softener

Drying

  • Tumble dry on low heat
  • Remove promptly to prevent wrinkles
  • Air drying is also recommended
  • Do not iron directly on printed areas
  • Do not dry clean

Compression Wear & Apparel Care

Performance compression wear requires special care to maintain elasticity, moisture-wicking properties, and print quality.

Washing

  • Machine wash in cold water (30°C / 86°F max)
  • Turn garments inside out before washing
  • Use a mesh laundry bag for best results
  • Use a sports-specific detergent or mild liquid soap
  • Do not use bleach or fabric softener
  • Avoid washing with rough fabrics (jeans, velcro)

Drying & Storage

  • Hang dry or lay flat to dry (preferred)
  • If using a dryer, use the lowest heat setting
  • Do not iron compression garments
  • Store flat or neatly folded, not bunched
  • Keep away from direct sunlight when storing
  • Allow garments to fully dry before storing

General Tips

Stain Removal

Treat stains promptly with cold water. For stubborn stains, apply a small amount of mild detergent directly to the area and gently work it in before washing.

Protect Prints

Always wash printed items inside out. Avoid high heat on printed areas. Never iron directly over sublimated or screen-printed designs.

What to Avoid

Never use bleach, chlorine, or harsh chemicals. Avoid fabric softeners as they can break down performance fibers and reduce moisture-wicking ability.

Temperature Matters

Cold water preserves colors and elasticity. Hot water can cause shrinkage, color fading, and breakdown of performance fabrics over time.

Odor Control

For persistent odors in athletic wear, soak in a mixture of cold water and white vinegar (1:4 ratio) for 30 minutes before washing.

Tent & Flag Care

Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow to fully air dry before folding and storing. Never machine wash tent canopies or large format flags.
